Attention, Avoma, Cluely, Winn.ai and Proshort (Aria Live) are the real-time AI sales assistants whose own sites describe live help for the rep during the call; Gong adds narrower real-time alerts in its Zoom app. Pick by three things: whether only the rep sees the help, whether it covers your platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, dialers) and whether answers come from your own approved content.
If you want the category explained first, read what real-time sales assistance is and how it differs from conversation intelligence.
Key takeaways
Five tools describe help for the rep during the call: Attention, Avoma, Cluely, Winn.ai and Proshort (Aria Live). Gong's live features, per its own blog, are alerts in its Zoom app (talk time, a silent stakeholder), not answers to buyer questions.
Three state plainly that the buyer cannot see the help: Avoma (Answer Cards), Cluely and Proshort.
Avoma, Cluely and Proshort publish prices for live help. Attention, Gong and Winn.ai do not.
On Microsoft Teams, Attention, Avoma, Cluely and Proshort name Teams on their sites; Gong describes its live alerts for Zoom only.
Choose by the moment you lose deals. An unanswered question on the call needs live help; slow coaching across the team needs conversation intelligence, and many teams keep both.
How we compared these tools
A tool made this list only if its own site describes help that reaches the rep while the call is happening: an answer, a battlecard, a prompt or an alert. Recording and summarizing after the call did not count. For each tool we checked:
What appears on the rep's screen during the call: answers, battlecards, prompts or alerts
Who can see it, and whether the vendor says the buyer cannot
Which meeting platforms and dialers the vendor names
Whether the price for live help is published
Proshort makes Aria, one of the tools below; we list it last and describe every tool from its own website and help pages. Vendor information was checked in November 2026 (re-checked 3 Nov 2026), and prices appear only where the vendor publishes them. The tools are not ranked: the four live-help assistants appear alphabetically, then Gong, whose live features are alerts, then Proshort.
We also checked Sybill, Momentum and Oliv. Their sites describe briefs, summaries, CRM updates and deal alerts, but not on-screen help during a live call, so they are not included here.
Which real-time AI sales assistants are worth comparing in 2027?

Winn.ai | Real-time playbook guidance, live answers from your knowledge base, live coaching | The rep; buyer view not stated | Not on product pages; terms mention Zoom, Meet, Teams, dialers | Not published (Enterprise from 20 seats) | Following the playbook on every call |
Gong | Alerts in the Gong App for Zoom, such as talking too much or a stakeholder going quiet | The rep, in the Zoom app | Live alerts: Zoom | Not published (third-party estimates: $1,360 to $1,600 per user per year at list plus a platform fee) | After-call analysis, forecasting and enablement at scale |
Proshort (our product) | Aria Live: sourced answer, proof point and next question as the buyer asks; objections tracked until resolved | Only the rep; the buyer sees a normal meeting | Zoom, Google Meet, Teams; dialers such as Dialpad and RingCentral | $75 per rep per month plus $3 per Aria Live call hour; Enterprise custom | B2B teams losing deals on technical, pricing and competitor questions |
What does each tool do live, and where does it fall short?
Attention
Attention's page for sales reps says AI-powered battlecards help reps answer any prospect question while on the call, alongside real-time call coaching and an AI note taker, and lists Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet among its integrations (Attention for sales reps).
Watch for: the site does not say who sees the live battlecards or which platforms support them, and no prices are published.
Avoma
Avoma detects trigger phrases, buyer signals and objections, then shows an Answer Card on the rep's screen within seconds; each card stays up for 20 seconds, then waits in a drawer (Avoma real-time guidance). Admins set the triggers and approved responses. Its help center says cards are visible only to reps and never shown to external participants (Avoma help), and its pricing page lists the Real-time Answer Assistant in the Conversation Intelligence add-on (Avoma pricing).
Watch for: answers are only as current as the cards your admins maintain, and trigger keywords need an exact match, so admins must add common variations. Reps need the Avoma live note-taker open or its Zoom app for cards to appear.
Cluely
Cluely is a general meeting assistant rather than a sales platform. It captures system audio on the user's Mac or Windows machine, never joins the call, and shows suggestions in an overlay only the user can see (Cluely). Its Enterprise docs add a shared knowledge base for sales scripts and CRM connections to Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive (Cluely docs).
Watch for: Cluely sells a plan that hides it from screen sharing (Cluely pricing). Because nothing joins the meeting, the platform shows no notice that an AI tool is transcribing, so your team must handle disclosure and consent itself.
Winn.ai
Winn.ai says it joins meetings in real time to answer questions, reinforce the playbook and coach each rep (Winn.ai). Its plans list real-time playbook guidance, live answers connected to your knowledge base, live AI coaching and in-call CRM visibility, with an Enterprise minimum of 20 seats (Winn.ai pricing).
Watch for: product pages do not name meeting platforms or say what the buyer sees. Its terms of service mention Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and dialer systems (Winn.ai terms).
Gong
Gong is a conversation intelligence platform first. Its live features, described on its blog, run in the Gong App for Zoom: an alert when a rep talks more than winning calls suggest, and a cue when the key stakeholder goes quiet (Gong blog). Its conversation intelligence page says it surfaces deal risks and buying signals in real time (Gong).
Watch for: Gong's site does not describe on-screen answers to buyer questions. Prices are not published; see our Gong pricing breakdown for the sourced estimates.
Proshort (our product): Aria Live
Aria joins Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams calls. When the buyer asks a question, it puts the answer, the proof point and the next question on the rep's screen in under a second, drawn from your battlecards, docs and won calls with the source shown (Aria Live). It detects objections, shows the answer that has won before and tracks each concern until it is resolved. The rep decides what to say.
Watch for: live help is metered at $3 per call hour, so budget for the calls you switch it on. Regional data residency, SSO and role-based access come with Enterprise plans only.
Which real-time AI sales assistants work on Microsoft Teams calls?
Named on the vendor's site: Attention and Avoma (Teams listed as supported), Cluely (runs on the rep's computer alongside Teams), Proshort (Aria joins Teams calls).
Named only in legal terms: Winn.ai.
Live features described for Zoom only: Gong.
A logo is not proof: ask for a demo of live answers on a Teams call.
Is there an AI assistant that shows answers to the rep but not the buyer?
Yes. Three delivery models keep answers on the rep's side:
A desktop app or web sidebar. Avoma shows Answer Cards in its desktop app sidebar or web app, never to external participants.
A local overlay that never joins. Cluely listens through the user's computer and shows an overlay only the user sees.
An assistant in the meeting, answers on the rep's screen. Aria joins the call to listen; only the rep sees its answers, and the buyer sees a normal meeting with the standard recording notice.
Private answers are not the same as a hidden recording. Consent rules apply whichever model you pick; our guide to real-time sales assistance covers what the buyer sees and how platforms handle consent.
How should you choose a real-time AI sales assistant?
If your main problem is | Start with | Why |
|---|---|---|
Reps say "let me get back to you" on pricing, security or competitor questions | Avoma or Proshort | Both put a private answer on the rep's screen mid-call |
Calls run on dialers as well as video | Proshort | Live help is described for dialer calls too |
Reps skip steps in the playbook | Winn.ai or Proshort | Real-time playbook guidance; Aria tracks the agenda and suggests the next question |
One seller wants live help with no bot, on a small budget | Cluely | A local overlay from $19.99 a month |
Leaders need forecasting, outreach and enablement across hundreds of reps | Gong, plus a live assistant if calls are the gap | After-call analysis across the whole revenue team |
Then run a 30-minute test before you sign, on your own content:
Pull five real buyer questions from deals you lost or stalled.
Load the same battlecards and docs into each tool you are testing.
Have a colleague ask those questions on a live test call, on the platform your buyers use.
Time how long the rep waits for a usable answer, and check whether the source is shown.
Ask the colleague playing the buyer what they saw on their screen.
Where Proshort fits (and where it does not)
Proshort fits when deals slip because reps cannot answer technical, competitive or pricing questions on the spot. Aria answers from your own content, shows only the rep, then drafts the follow-up and CRM update for the rep to approve. You pay $3 per call hour only on calls where live help matters, such as demos and late-stage negotiations. Teams can run Aria next to Gong or migrate their Gong recordings.
"The contextual insights it delivers are not only precise but also perfectly timed." Kanika Bhalla, Chief Revenue Officer, Increff
Read the Increff case study. Proshort is not the best fit if you only need individual meeting notes (a lighter notetaker or Cluely's individual plan is simpler), if you need live help with nothing joining the meeting, or if a single forecasting and outreach suite for a very large team matters more than help on the call.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best real-time AI sales assistant?
It depends on where your reps lose deals. For B2B teams whose deals stall on pricing, security and competitor questions, a tool that shows the rep a sourced answer during the call, privately, such as Avoma's Answer Cards or Proshort's Aria Live, fits best. Winn.ai suits playbook adherence, Cluely suits individual sellers who want no bot, and Gong suits after-call analysis at scale.
Which sales AI tools give live answers during calls instead of only recording them?
As of November 2026, Attention (AI battlecards on the call), Avoma (Answer Cards and Ask Avoma), Cluely (on-demand answers in a desktop overlay), Winn.ai (live answers from your knowledge base) and Proshort (Aria Live) describe live help on their own sites. Gong describes real-time alerts in its Zoom app, such as talking too much, rather than answers to buyer questions.
Which real-time AI sales assistants work on Microsoft Teams calls?
Attention and Avoma list Teams among the platforms they work with, Cluely runs on the rep's computer alongside Teams, and Proshort's Aria joins Teams calls as well as Zoom and Google Meet. Winn.ai names Teams only in its terms of service, and Gong describes its live alerts for Zoom. Ask each vendor to show live help on a Teams call before you sign.
Can the buyer see what the AI assistant shows the rep?
Not with tools built for privacy. Avoma says Answer Cards are never shown to external participants. Cluely runs as an overlay only the user sees. Proshort shows Aria's answers only to the rep, and the buyer sees a normal meeting with the standard recording notice. Private answers do not remove the need for recording consent, which still applies per region.
How much does a real-time AI sales assistant cost?
Published prices vary by model. Avoma's live answers need its Conversation Intelligence add-on ($29 per seat per month) on a $19 to $39 plan, both billed annually. Cluely Pro is $19.99 a month. Proshort costs $75 per rep per month plus $3 per call hour of Aria Live, so a rep using 20 live hours pays $135 that month. Winn.ai, Attention and Gong do not publish prices.
